Dendrobium Berry 'Oda' - lush specimens - fragrant flowers
The Dendrobium Berry 'Oda' orchid is a fragrant-flowered orchid, an officially registered cultivated hybrid (grex Dendrobium Berry, M. Oda, 1983) in the International Orchid Register (RHS). It comes from a cross between the Australian species Dendrobium kingianum and the hybrid Dendrobium Mini Pearl (D. canaliculatum x D. bigibbum); 'Oda' is the name of the clone. The leaves are smooth, ribbon-like, and bright green.
Dendrobium orchids prefer bright light, with direct sun in the morning or evening, but protected from the scorching midday sun. Keep the orchid in the brightest position during the winter months to help the canes formed in the current year mature.
Substrate recommendation: for healthy roots and abundant flowering, use Secret Garden substrate for Dendrobium.
