It was described by the English botanist Robert Allen Rolfe in 1905.\u003cbr\u003eThe Paphiopedilum succulent blooms in early autumn and winter, on stems 25 cm long, with unique flowers featuring a purplish bloom of fine hairs, and a long-lasting flower stalk.\u003cbr\u003ePlacement: Place in partial shade, ensuring good ventilation.\u003cbr\u003eOptimal temperature: 15°-22° C. Night temperature should always be 3° C lower than daytime.\u003cbr\u003eWatering: frequent watering, requires constant moisture. Excess water must drain from the pot, as water stagnation both inside and in the saucer can quickly lead to root and lower part rot. Water must not remain on the leaves. Spraying is not recommended.\u003cbr\u003eHumidity: 50-70% will be sufficient for normal growth and development of the plant.
