Calathea is a plant that truly purifies the air, contributing to a better and healthier indoor climate.
Calathea is also special for another reason: at night its leaves close and in the morning they open again! This is why Calathea is also called the "living plant." The plant owes this ability to a small "joint" between the leaves and the stem. Light moves the joints and, as a result, Calathea’s leaves open and close – sometimes accompanied by a rustling sound.
Placement: shaded area, with indirect light. It does not tolerate drafts or very low temperatures during winter. In summer it feels good in a cooler place; in excessive heat the leaves get spotted.
Watering: water moderately, allowing the soil to dry partially.
Humidity: it thrives better when humidity is higher.
Height including pot 30 cm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/5551/3798/files/2A442010-F833-4F50-9E39-06629D05D5D0.jpg?v=1714648384
