- natural heat produced by the oxidation of iron powder
A heat pack protects plants during the cold season by generating a constant source of heat inside the packaging during transport. It works through a chemical reaction between iron powder and oxygen in the air, which produces heat. Here's how it helps protect plants:
1. Maintains the optimal temperature
The heat pack prevents plants from being exposed to low temperatures that could damage their tissues or even cause them to freeze.
2. Reduces the risk of thermal shock
Large temperature fluctuations during transport can stress plants. The heat pack helps maintain a stable environment, minimizing this risk.
3. Protects sensitive roots and leaves
Tropical plants or those with delicate structures are particularly vulnerable to cold. The heat pack provides them with an appropriate temperature to prevent damage.
4. Effective for courier transport
If the package passes through countries or regions with very low temperatures, the heat pack acts as a thermal barrier, reducing the risk of the plants being affected by external temperatures.
The displayed price is for 1 XL pack - 72 hours.
In the cold season, when temperatures are below zero or below 5 degrees Celsius, please add a heat pack.
For bulky packages, we recommend at least 4-5 units.
