Labisia sp. Riau 'Green' is a tropical collector's plant, prized for its velvety leaves in shades of lime green to light green, decorated with very dark green spots and markings arranged along the veins. Its strongly contrasting pattern gives it an exotic appearance, quite unlike tropical plants with uniformly colored foliage.

For this type of plant, a finer, more moisture-retentive mix is preferable to a very coarse substrate for Araceae.
